Gmail
Gmail is now part of the Google Workspace marketplace app. The built-in Gmail integration is retired: it no longer appears in the Integrations page picker, and new connections are made by installing Google Workspace from Apps and having each user link their own Google account.
Gmail tools
Section titled “Gmail tools”These are the same six tools whether they come from the app or a legacy built-in row:
| Tool | Description |
|---|---|
gmail_search | Search mail with Gmail query syntax (sender, subject, keywords, date range, labels) |
gmail_read | Read a full message by ID |
gmail_send | Send a new message or reply, with HTML body, CC, BCC, and file attachments |
gmail_download_attachment | Download an attachment |
gmail_contacts_search | Search contacts and frequent correspondents |
gmail_delete | Move a message to trash |
There is no separate reply or label-management tool. To reply, the agent sends a new message addressed to the original sender.
Mail sync into the Sprigr inbox, historic backfill, Sent folder mirroring, attachment limits, and the connect flow are described on the Google Workspace page.
